TCU’s ROTC program conducts periodic training exercises using simulated rifles. These may take place in the early morning hours on the recreation field near the track off of Bellaire Drive or at the university’s flag pole off of University Drive.

- May 2 Air Force ROTC will be conducting training with dummy rifles at the Rickel Building on Stadium Drive at 3:30 p.m.

- Jan. 19 Army ROTC will be conducting training with dummy rifles at the TCU Bellaire recreation field from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Jan. 26 Army ROTC will be conducting training with dummy rifles at the TCU Bellaire recreation field from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
December 2022
- Dec. 1 Air Force ROTC will accomplish Honor Guard evaluations outside The Rickel on Stadium Drive from 9 a.m. to noon.
- Dec. 3 Air Force ROTC will use their mock rifles at the Dee J. Kelly Alumni Center from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Dec. 17 Air Force ROTC will use their mock rifles for TCU Commencement proceedings.

September 2022
- Sept. 7 & 9 ROTC cadets will be at the loading docks of the Rickel Building on Stadium Drive using simulated weapons. The times are scheduled for 9 a.m.-9:45 a.m. Sept. 7 and 4 p.m.-4:45 p.m. Sept. 9.
- Sept. 12 & 13 In annual recognition of POWs and MIAs, ROTC cadets will be running flags around campus from noon Sept. 12 to noon Sept. 13. Additionally, cadets will be armed with training rifles at the university’s flag pole.
- Sept. 22 & 29 ROTC will conduct training from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on the recreational fields off Bellaire Drive. They will utilize simulated training rifles.
