The Annual Security Report & Fire Safety Report contains three years’ worth of statistics for certain types of crimes reported to TCU by either a local law enforcement agency or campus security authority. TCU only reports statistics for crimes that happen in very specific locations, known as Clery Act geography. These include the following.
- On Campus – the main Fort Worth campus, University House Apartments, and Liberty Lofts apartments.
- Branch Campus – the Burnett School of Medicine, a branch campus of TCU located in Fort Worth, more than a mile from the main campus.
- Noncampus – includes two remote locations, the TCU Equestrian Center and the Bolt Street Facility. Noncampus property also includes locations where both TCU students visit and TCU has control over the location. For example, a hotel where several students stay while on a class trip of more than one night.
- Public Property – Any public property immediately adjacent to and accessible from any on-campus or branch campus property.
